There are a wide variety of Omaha Hi/Lo hands so it can be hard to decide which hands should be played and which should be folded. It may surprise some to know that there are more hands that should be folded than played.
When you are playing Texas Holdem or Omaha Hi/Lo you should only be viewing around 20% of the flops. Anything more then that could mean you are probably playing too loose. The first thing you must know before you ever sit down at a Omaha Hi/Lo table; you must know which hands should be let go. There are of course, some hands that are just obviously not good poker hands. Those are the ones you will be able to easily fold and shouldnt have any problem with. In the good Texas Holdem poker rooms on the internet there are various levels of buy-ins for tournament play, generally starting from around $5 (plus site fee) per player. This is the level that most new players play at but has your game moved on while you've stood still? What I mean by that is - have you gained enough poker experience to leave the "newbies" behind and move up a couple of levels?
